Frequent Customer Questions
How does a condensing boiler work?
A condensing boiler, recycles exhaust gases releasing latent heat normally lost through the flue, making them more efficient.
What's the environmental impact?
The emission of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide are lower for condensing boilers, thus making them more environmentally friendly and helping to reduce global warming and your carbon footprint.
What cost savings can I expect from a condensing boiler?
This depends on what type of property you have, the system you have in place and type of boiler, insulation etc. Condensing boilers can save up to 40% compared to older boiler types. Meaning lower energy bills for the home owner.
What warranties do I get with the boiler?
Between 1 to 5 years depending on the manufacturer of the boiler
How does a HIP (Home owners Info Pack) affect me the home owner?
Every HIP includes among other things the rating of the efficiency of the heating system installed. This in future will affect the price of homes for sale. So having the most energy efficent system fitted is an obvious choice for home owners. Since 2010, HIP packs are no longer required for selling homes. However, EPC (energy performance certificate) is required when selling or letting a house in England and Wales.
